About Syed.

The short version
I live in Cottbus, Germany, and I design product experiences for teams that care about clarity, performance, and evidence. I am looking for full-time Product or UX Designer roles across Germany and the EU, remote-friendly or hybrid where it makes sense.
How I work
My loop is simple: start from what users are trying to accomplish, pressure-test ideas with lightweight research, then prototype in high enough fidelity that engineering can estimate without guesswork. I write UI copy when it helps, and I stay close to the build — I have shipped production WordPress and front-end work myself, so I know where designs break when responsive rules, performance budgets, or accessibility constraints show up late.
I measure what matters. That can be task success in usability sessions, conversion on a checkout flow, engagement on a campaign surface, or Core Web Vitals in the field. The goal is never “more design” — it is fewer dead ends between intent and outcome.
The unusual mix
I studied Computer Science at Lahore Garrison University, then spent seven years in agencies and product-adjacent roles designing e-commerce, dashboards, and brand systems across 250+ shipped projects. That background means I can read a network trace, reason about component states, and collaborate with engineers without treating the codebase like a black box.
I am now completing an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence at BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg. The coursework sharpens how I evaluate model behavior, privacy trade-offs, and where generative tools belong in a workflow versus where they create risk. It is not a party trick — it is a lens for building safer, faster product cycles.
Beyond the screen
I reset by running, cooking badly on purpose, and reading outside design — a mix of history, psychology, and systems thinking. Languages: English (fluent), Urdu (native), German at B2. I like meeting people who build physical things; it keeps my taste for detail honest.
